PPP end of week presentation

Upon seeing work from other groups I think we made the wrong decision at the start to simplify our work down from a stop motion to 2D printouts. A good number of the groups presenting had worked with moving picture. Giving their Haiku extra impact and allowing the whole group to get involved. The lack of effort all round has meant we now have very little pride in our work, making this a learning curb for me. I think I just felt PPP was a bit of an unnecessary distraction and more of a box ticking exercise although it was still an opportunity to develop my skill set.

Reflecting on the work of peers, there were some well-executed ideas given the limited time frame. One that caught my eye was a short stop-motion featuring moving spiders and beer. This piece was one that stood out as being something we could have produced given our original idea was for a similar production. Another particularly poignant video involved balloons, filled with haiku lines relating to stress and anxiety, popping and deflating sometimes in slow motion. This conveyed the message very well from a visual interpretation perspective.
