Over the last couple of days three members of our group have been preparing screens and printing our final poster for the film Her, introduced my Maria Walnut. The final print was edited to some extent to make it a little less busy as a response from to the crit we had at the start of the week. We initially had a bit of a headache with the printing process as we were advised that it may be easier to print with white and blue paint onto red paper instead of attempting to print such a large block of red. This is something we hadn't really considered in development of the poster, therefor altering its appearance sightly when finished however we were happy with the final outcome.

I feel the end product is indicative of Maria Walnuts style and has come out very effectively. The illustrations and subtle hint at the melancholic nature of the story via the characters missing glasses lens are both very effective concepts. The original typography adaptation of publishers favourite Gill sans also gives the design depth and allows for greater contextual justification. I can be very happy with my contribution to the poster and also the way the group worked together to screen print it near perfectly despite a few slight set backs.
Edit: Maria Walnut responded positively also, expressing her gratitude for the poster and saying she really liked it
